The Global Spine Congress 2015 has been accredited by the EACCME® with 21 CME credits.
The EACCME (the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education) is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). The aim of a CME system is to assure a high level of theoretic and clinical competences throughout the working life of medical specialists. The EAACI CME Accreditation Committee guarantees that the CME programmes are of a high scientific and educational standard in agreement with the European and American CME systems. EACCME credits are recognized by the American Medical Association (AMA) towards the Physician’s Recognition Award (PRA). Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognized by the UEMS-EACCME for ECMEC credits are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
To convert EACCME credits, please contact the respective national accreditation body for more information. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
